Only TWO divisions (Minor Novice and Novice) will be holding Spring tryouts for the 2013-2014 Season - SEE TRYOUT INFORMATION BELOW.   All other Select divisions (Tyke, Atom, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget) will be holding tryouts at the beginning of September.  Times will be posted after August 20^th, 2013.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ABOUT SPRING TRYOUTS

Players already registered with George Bell for the current 2012-2013 season are eligible to attend the tryouts.

Those players who were registered elsewhere for the 2012-2013 season or not registered with any organization in the past year must register with George Bell for the upcoming 2013/14 Season prior to the tryouts.

The Select Program has always been, and continues to be, for registered House League Players only. This rule applies to every hockey club in the NYHL.  If you do not make the team, you will be able to request unregistration* and be released so that you can register and try out at another association. You may only be released twice in one season under Hockey Canada rules.

 *A $25 Cancellation fee is in effect for those who unregister prior to the start of the season.

SELECT HOCKEY

Our Select Hockey division gives our registered players the opportunity to play competitive hockey against other hockey organizations.   Last season George Bell fielded 17 teams over every age division.   

Select teams generally practice once a week and play against other Select teams from other organizations in various rinks across the GTA.   This is in addition to their House League games.   Select Teams also participate in 2 or three tournaments each season, sometimes travelling out of town for Tournament weekends. 

Fees for our 2013-2014 Select Season have not yet been confirmed but are in addition to House League Fees.
