The George Bell Hockey Association (GBHA) is a not-for-profit community hockey association located in the heart of the Junction in West Toronto. The goal of the GBHA is to develop and maintain fun, safe, fair and inclusive hockey programs for children and youths between the ages of 4 and 20.

Registration for the 2017-2018 Season is now open.

All of our registration is done online via the Hockey Canada Registry.

The GBHA was named the NYHL 2015-2016 GRAND CHAMPION with the most Select Team Tier Championship Wins!

The 2015-2016 season saw 18 of our Select Teams make the Semi-Final Round with 8 of those teams making the Finals and 5 winning their Tier Championship.  Congratulations to the following Championship Winners: Minor Atom White, Minor Atom Navy, Minor Pee Wee White, Minor Bantam White and Minor Midget Navy.

The GBHA has more than 800 house league players every season. In order to promote participation and fun at every level we have tiered most divisions. The goal of the GBHA is to develop and maintain fun, safe, fair and inclusive hockey programs for all children and youths, both boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 20 with divisions from Tyke to Midget/Juvenile.

Our Select Hockey program gives our more skilled players the opportunity to play competitive hockey against other organizations within the North York Hockey League in arenas across the city. Last season, the GBHA fielded 22 teams "Tyke" to "Under 21". The NYHL is open to house league select teams in the Greater Toronto area and operates under the umbrella of the GTHL.

Girls Only Skills Program

The GBHA and its coaches offer bi-weekly skills sessions to all levels except Midget/Juvenile. These sessions are offered at no additional cost. In addition, we may offer specific Girls Only and Goalie sessions. These sessions will be confirmed at the beginning of the season. In addition we annually rent outdoor ice at High Park for team practices during the Outdoor season.

The Tyke program is very unique because it begins with a "Learn to Play" format before moving into team game format. Please note that this is NOT a Learn to Skate program.  The program is divided into two division levels allowing all players to enjoy some success in game situations as they continue to learn to skate and acquire basic hockey skills.
