DIVISION INFORMATION & FEES

Players will play in one league only. CDP, Select, and MHL "A" players will not play in House League.

All players register in their Age division, whether they plan to play House League, CDP or Select, or MHL "A".

If players decide to move on to CDP, Select, or MHL "A" there will be an additional fee once teams are formed.

Please review the program information on the right before beginning your registration.

When ready, the Registration link will take you directly to GBHA's Hockey Canada Registration system.

Once registration is complete please print off a receipt for your records and tax purposes.

HOCKEY CANADA REGISTRATION - NEED TO KNOW

  • If you have played hockey before and do not see your player in the system, DO NOT CREATE A NEW PLAYER PROFILE.  Please contact our Registrar registrar.gbha@gmail.com

  • Only select ONE package for your player: 

    • House League or Learn To Skate

  • All players register in their Age division, whether you plan to play House League, CDP or Select. If you decide to move on to CDP or Select  there will be an additional Fee once teams are sorted.

     

  • Players will play in one stream only.

  • There is a Full Payment and Installment Option for payment


  • Some returning GBHA players may have active Credits on their profile. These need to be added to your Order before you get to the Terms & Conditions Page.  If you have a credit please click on the "Add Credits" on the Summary page.

RESPECT IN SPORT - PARENT PROGRAM

MANDATORY FOR ALL  PLAYERS IN ONTARIO

One parent from every registered player under 18 will need to complete the online Respect In Sport Parent Program.  This is a new directive from the Ontario Hockey League and is being implemented across the GTHL.

Players under 18 will not be allowed to play until the online course has been completed by at least one parent and the information has been successfully linked to their Hockey Canada account.

ROWANS LAW

MANDATORY FOR ALL  PLAYERS IN ONTARIO

The Ontario Government has enacted Rowan’s Law.  The Act requires all sport organizations to have a Concussion Code of Conduct. This Code requires participants to review the Ontario Government’s issued Concussion Awareness Resources on an annual basis.

You will be asked to review this code during your online registration every year.

HOCKEY CANADA REGISTRATION - NEED TO KNOW

• All players must register online using the Hockey Canada Registry.
• No player may be registered in two separate hockey leagues in one season.
• It is imperative that your contact information is current. This information will be used to contact you regarding your player.
• Registration is not complete until a payment is made.
• Please contact our Registrar if you require assistance or would like to pay by cheque/e-transfer.
• Please print off receipts and keep for your records and for tax purposes.

REFUND POLICY

Players must contact our Registrar to request a refund or un-registration.

Hockey Canada dictates that each player is only allowed 2 un-registrations per season.

All refunds are subject to a minimum Administration Fee.

$100 Administration Fee will be deducted from refunds after August 31.

No refunds will be issued after October 31.

The last day for release from the club is November 15.

 

Please note:

Uniforms and equipment must be returned before refunds are considered. Fundraising money will not be refunded.

HELP A KID PLAY HOCKEY FUND

Funded by parent, player, and team donations, the GBHA Help a Kid Play Hockey Fund aims to help ease the financial burden of hockey fees.

In order to support more players, the HKPHF will serve as a supplemental source of support, available after applying to Jumpstart, Kidsport, and The Hockey Canada Assist Fund.
