RESPECT IN SPORT
PARENT PROGRAM
In accordance with the Ontario Hockey Federation, one parent of every minor hockey player under the age of 18 is required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Program before participating in hockey programming.
This course is mandatory to have the Player’s registration approved.
Please note that the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Certificate does not fulfill this requirement.
The cost of taking the program is $12 plus tax and is paid directly online when taking the program. A participant’s parent will only be required to take the program once. There is no requirement for re-taking the program annually.
Parents will be asked to link their completed certificate with the Hockey Canada profile of their
player(s).
Please make sure to add all of your players to this certificate.
The Club list is alphabetical with George Bell showing up as: "HL - GEORGE BELL MINOR HOCKEY
ASSOCIATION".
Your certification will automatically be added to the profile of the player(s) you indicate in the child
management section of the online program.
YOUR CERTIFICATION WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ADDED TO THE PLAYER PROFILE(S) YOU INDICATE IN THE CHILD MANAGEMENT SECTION OF THE ONLINE PROGRAMME.
