SELECT & "A" HOCKEY
The Select & "A" programs give our players the opportunity to be involved in a more intensive hockey experience. The teams are tiered so players play against players of similar ability.
Players in the Select program will participate in one or two practices per week and play at least one game a week against teams from other Hockey Associations (approximately 20-30 games per season.) In addition Select teams may participate in tournaments during the season.
Players in the "A" program will participate in one or two practices per week and play at least two games a week against teams from other Hockey Associations (approximately 40-50 games per season.) In addition "A" teams may participate in tournaments during the season.
There are additional costs to playing on a Select or "A" team.
George Bell Hockey Association Tryouts
Anyone skating in a Select tryout must be registered with George Bell Hockey Association for the 2024-25 Season.
Initially everyone will register in their respective age group.
Once the "A" and Select teams are sorted out there will be another registration, with an additional fee, to play "A" or Select.
If you decide to de-register after tryouts conclude you will receive a full refund less $25 per skate attended.
All tryouts are open - no one has a guaranteed spot.
