GEORGE BELL ARENA UPDATE

We've been told by the City to "be prepared for one year... but we are getting pretty good at it!" The last two arena renovations of similar scope were back in use by October.

Plan B: While we are waiting to return to George Bell Arena, we will be at local rinks such as Chris Tonks, and Amesbury Arenas.

GBHA Alumna Sophie Jaques and the Walter Cup

George Bell Hockey Association was proud to welcome alumna Sophie Jaques and the Walter Cup to George Bell Arena on October 24th, 2024. Sophie began her hockey journey at the George Bell Hockey Association, and has gone on to become a 1st Team All-American, Patty Kazmaier Award winner, NCAA Champion, and now a PWHL Champion in the inaugural season with the Minnesota Frost.

GEORGE BELL HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

The George Bell Hockey Association (GBHA) is a community-based hockey association located in west Toronto. The GBHA is committed to developing safe and inclusive hockey programs for children and youth aged 4 to 20 that are fun and support skills development. We aim to make hockey welcoming and accessible to all—regardless of ability, cultural background or economic circumstances—to create lifelong engagement in sport and the community.
